Artichoke is important for digestion, liver, kidney and gallbladder complaints. It is a powerful choleretic, cholagogue and a diuretic. Indications include dyspepsia, hyperlipidemia, IBS, appetite loss, sluggish liver, poor digestion, constipation and atherosclerosis.
