Bladderwrack (Fucus Vesiculosis) 750 mg providing 480 mcg iodine

Description

Bladderwrack benefits under-active thyroid glands, goiter, and weight loss due to its iodine content. It's also a chelator due to its fucoidan content. Its alginic acid has carminative properties beneficial in GERD, and shown to inhibit HIV in vitro as well as lower LDL cholesterol levels.

1 serving (750 mg) 1-2x daily or as directed.

Potential side effects/Safety

Avoid in pregnancy. Caution with acne. Excessive iodine ingestion can cause either hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism and should be avoided.
