'f02_body6' => 'RESULTS OF STUDIES <br> <br> SHII-TA-KER HOLISTICA® WITH 3 POLYSACCHARIDES PROVEN TRIPLE NUTRITIONAL ACTION <br> The nutritional active substances extracted from the edible mushroom Lentinus Edodes from Japan, have been examined in more than 80 international studies, which have demonstrated its major role in contributing to produce good general balance and cell protection. Because of its excellent tolerability and use in foods for thousands of years, it has been possible, for the first time, to offer it in a concentrated balanced form in capsules in the nutritional supplement SHII-TA-KER HOLISTICA®. In addition to the work described above, three multi-centre trial, supervised by 9 independent doctors on the one hand, and by the CRDT (Centre for Research and Therapeutic Documentation), a non profit-making association, on the other, have demonstrated the nutritional effectiveness and safety of SHII-TA-KER HOLISTICA® capsules in 2 fields, both in children and in adults. <br> <br> RESISTANCE TO COLD CHILDREN AND ADULTS <br> A series of multi-centre observations on supplementation with dry Shii-ta-kÉ extract (Shii-ta-ker) in patients sensitive to cold was conducted in 50 subjects, including 25 children and 25 adults, at a dose of one capsule per day in children less than 8 years old and 2 capsules per day in adults. Results of this study using nutritional supplementation with Shii-Ta-Ker capsules under medical supervision demonstrated a clear success, with 82% good to excellent results according to the 9 doctors, who also reported that it was very well tolerated. As this supplement is nutritional in nature, it is entirely compatible with treatment (e.g.: homeopathy). <br> <br> TONE AND VITALITY <br> A second study conducted based on observations in 31 medically-supervised subjects suffering from severe loss of tone/vitality, demonstrated a clear improvement in tone/vitality in 70% of cases, after taking 2 capsules of Shii-ta-kÉ extract (Shii-ta-ker Holistica®) per day for one month. The study included 50 patients of which 25 were children and 25 adults. <br> <br> These patients who suffered with ENT conditions which recurred several times a year, had already received various symptomatic treatments without any lasting benefits. In each case, all clinical laboratory or radiological abnormalities needing urgent medical treatment were excluded. <br> <br> Disorders present: Rhinitis, tracheitis, <a href='/conditions/pneumonia' style='text-decoration: none'>bronchitis</a>, rhino-<a href='/conditions/strep-throat' style='text-decoration: none'>pharyngitis</a> 50 cases <br> Directions for use: 1 capsule per day for 1 or 2 months in children between 1 and 8 years old. 2 capsules per day for longer periods or in adults, taken at breakfast and lunch time. <br> <br> Overall opinion of the doctors about its effectiveness: <br> > Good or excellent results with rapid disappearance of symptoms 41 cases (82%) <br> > Moderate results with reduction but no disappearance of symptoms 8 cases (16%) <br> > No results: treatment stopped by an 18-month child who could not swallow the capsules 1 case (2%) <br> <br> Observations: Out of 50 patients with ENT disorders studied, 25 had associated tiredness, which diminished rapidly between the 3rd and 8th day and had disappeared by the 30th day. For the 25 children, the treatment was particularly effective and well tolerated. There were no unpleasant side-effects, although an 18 month old child was unable to continue because the treatment was in the form of capsules. <br> <br> Conclusion: In this study of 50 patients with recurrent ENT disorders, the doctors were on the whole very pleased with the Shii-Ta-Ker Holistica treatment, both alone or together with a personalized homeopathic treatment regime. For young children between 1 and 2 years old, the Shii-Ta-Ker Holistica may be opened and added to certain foods as they are served, such as soup or mashed potato.',

Because of its excellent tolerability and use in foods for thousands of years, it has been possible, for the first time, to offer it in a concentrated balanced form in capsules in the nutritional supplement SHII-TA-KER HOLISTICA®. In addition to the work described above, three multi-centre trial, supervised by 9 independent doctors on the one hand, and by the CRDT (Centre for Research and Therapeutic Documentation), a non profit-making association, on the other, have demonstrated the nutritional effectiveness and safety of SHII-TA-KER HOLISTICA® capsules in 2 fields, both in children and in adults. <br> <br> RESISTANCE TO COLD CHILDREN AND ADULTS <br> A series of multi-centre observations on supplementation with dry Shii-ta-kÉ extract (Shii-ta-ker) in patients sensitive to cold was conducted in 50 subjects, including 25 children and 25 adults, at a dose of one capsule per day in children less than 8 years old and 2 capsules per day in adults. The nutritional active substances extracted from the edible mushroom Lentinus Edodes from Japan, have been examined in more than 80 international studies, which have demonstrated its major role in contributing to produce good general balance and cell protection. Because of its excellent tolerability and use in foods for thousands of years, it has been possible, for the first time, to offer it in a concentrated balanced form in capsules in the nutritional supplement SHII-TA-KER HOLISTICA®. In addition to the work described above, three multi-centre trial, supervised by 9 independent doctors on the one hand, and by the CRDT (Centre for Research and Therapeutic Documentation), a non profit-making association, on the other, have demonstrated the nutritional effectiveness and safety of SHII-TA-KER HOLISTICA® capsules in 2 fields, both in children and in adults.
RESISTANCE TO COLD CHILDREN AND ADULTS
A series of multi-centre observations on supplementation with dry Shii-ta-kÉ extract (Shii-ta-ker) in patients sensitive to cold was conducted in 50 subjects, including 25 children and 25 adults, at a dose of one capsule per day in children less than 8 years old and 2 capsules per day in adults. Results of this study using nutritional supplementation with Shii-Ta-Ker capsules under medical supervision demonstrated a clear success, with 82% good to excellent results according to the 9 doctors, who also reported that it was very well tolerated. As this supplement is nutritional in nature, it is entirely compatible with treatment (e.g.: homeopathy).
TONE AND VITALITY
A second study conducted based on observations in 31 medically-supervised subjects suffering from severe loss of tone/vitality, demonstrated a clear improvement in tone/vitality in 70% of cases, after taking 2 capsules of Shii-ta-kÉ extract (Shii-ta-ker Holistica®) per day for one month. It is now accepted that the loss of capacity to respond to different stresses through a lack of certain nutrients causes many forms of fatigue. The dry extract of Shii-ta-ker Holistica provides very beneficial supplementation in addition to its protective polysaccharides as it also provides potassium, phosphorous, calcium, iron, silica, magnesium and sulphur, together with a very good protein structure (including free amino acids).
SHII-TA-KER HOLISTICA IN ENT DISORDERS – CLINICAL TRIAL
This clinical trial was based on a multi centre controlled trial which was performed in independent doctor's practices by general practitioners and specialists in homeopathy and pediatrics. The study included 50 patients of which 25 were children and 25 adults.
These patients who suffered with ENT conditions which recurred several times a year, had already received various symptomatic treatments without any lasting benefits. In each case, all clinical laboratory or radiological abnormalities needing urgent medical treatment were excluded.
Disorders present: Rhinitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, rhino-pharyngitis 50 cases
Directions for use: 1 capsule per day for 1 or 2 months in children between 1 and 8 years old. 2 capsules per day for longer periods or in adults, taken at breakfast and lunch time.
Overall opinion of the doctors about its effectiveness:
> Good or excellent results with rapid disappearance of symptoms 41 cases (82%)
> Moderate results with reduction but no disappearance of symptoms 8 cases (16%)
> No results: treatment stopped by an 18-month child who could not swallow the capsules 1 case (2%)
Observations: Out of 50 patients with ENT disorders studied, 25 had associated tiredness, which diminished rapidly between the 3rd and 8th day and had disappeared by the 30th day. For the 25 children, the treatment was particularly effective and well tolerated. There were no unpleasant side-effects, although an 18 month old child was unable to continue because the treatment was in the form of capsules.
Conclusion: In this study of 50 patients with recurrent ENT disorders, the doctors were on the whole very pleased with the Shii-Ta-Ker Holistica treatment, both alone or together with a personalized homeopathic treatment regime. For young children between 1 and 2 years old, the Shii-Ta-Ker Holistica may be opened and added to certain foods as they are served, such as soup or mashed potato.
