Indications

SeroSyn™ is designed to support a positive mood and a restful, relaxed state through beneficially modulating the metabolism of serotonin. This formula features clinically effective levels of 5-HTP and theanine per daily serving.

Ingredients

Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCl) 10 mg 500%
Folate (as calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate) 333 mcg 83%
Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) 250 mcg 4167%
Chinese Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) Root Extract [standardized to 30% (60 mg) flavones] 200 mg *
L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (L-5-HTP) 100 mg *
Asian Ginseng (Panax ginseng) Root Extract [standardized to 8% (8 mg) ginsenosides] 100 mg *
L-Theanine 80 mg *

Other Ingredients: Capsule (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), microcrystalline cellulose, silica, and stearic acid (vegetable).

Dose

Directions: Take one capsule three times daily with food or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Potential side effects/Safety

Caution: Use for a minimum of 1 week to see beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond one year. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking antidepressants, over the counter cough and cold medications, digoxin, carbidopa or drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcers, or abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain or if you experience skin changes. Do not use if you have scleroderma. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Some people may experience diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
Do not use if perma seal is missing.
