PGX Daily contains PolyGlycopleX®, a highly purified, water-soluble polysaccharide (plant fibres) complex used to reduce appetite by promoting a feeling of fullness. PGX® is manufactured using the proprietary EnviroSimplex® process to combine three naturally occurring raw polysaccharides: konjac, xanthan gum, and sodium alginate.
The soluble fibre complex develops a high level of viscosity and increases the volume of fibre in the stomach where it helps lower the glycemic index of food. This response promotes healthy blood sugar levels and helps reduce elevated total and LDL cholesterol levels.
PGX is suspended in a matrix of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) from coconut oil for additional support. Despite their saturated form, coconut oil MCTs are considered healthy fats that are rapidly absorbed and converted into energy by the body.
The ultra matrix softgels are our most convenient form of PGX, providing an advanced delivery system for great results. The complex matrix, when combined with stomach acid, disperses better than any other tested delivery system for soluble or insoluble fibre. Each non-GMO softgel contains 750 mg of PGX, to be taken with 250–500 mL of water before or alongside each meal.
