Description

NR is a unique member of the vitamin B3 family. The body converts NR into Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+), an essential molecule found in every living cell. It is essential to every cell but especially to those with mitochondria. NAD+ is a key component of the citric acid cycle and the electron transport chain, both involved in mitochondrial production of ATP for energy.
