Urinary
Each 3/4 tsp (2.1 g) contains:
D-Mannose 900 mg
Cranberry Extract 10:1 266.7 mg
Corn Silk 4:1 200 mg
Ascorbic Acid 666.7 mg
Vitamin A (Acetate) 3333.3 IU
Zinc (Citrate) 10 mg
This formula is used to treat and prevent recurrent urinary tract infections. It combines D-mannose and cranberry for their ability to worsen the conditions for bacterial growth and to interfere with E.Coli adhesion within the urinary tract. Corn silk provides a soothing effect for irritation, and the formula is rounded out by antioxidant ingredients such as ascorbic acid. Cranberry will make the urine more acidic.
