Each capsule contains:
Pancreatin 8X USP 500 mg providing:
Protease 100,000 USP
Amylase 100,000 USP
Lipase 20,000 USP

Description

Pancreatin 8X USP is derived from porcine pancreatic tissue that resembles human pancreatin and has eight times more enzyme activity than the USP standard. This product provides protease, lipase and amylase to assist digestion. When taken away from food, it exerts anti-inflammatory and pain relieving actions.

60 capsules

Dose

1 serving (1 capsule) 1-3x daily with or away from meals depending on purpose.

Potential side effects/Safety

Generally well tolerated. Caution in ulcers, in hemophiliacs, emphysema, before surgery and in conjunction with anti-coagulants. Pancreatin may interfere with folate absorption.
