Sodium (Chloride) 1000 mg
Potassium (Chloride) 200 mg
Magnesium (Malate) 75 mg

Description

The ideal intake is a 3:2 sodium-to-potassium but the 5:1 ratio in this formula is specific for athletes, low-carb/non-processed dieters, and intermittent fasters who are likely prone to greater sodium losses and thus need the extra boost of sodium to hit the 3:2 ratio. In line with the indications of athleticism, magnesium malate is used for extra recovery and energy benefit.

Potential side effects/Safety

Avoid in cases of high blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, fluid retention (especially around legs or lungs), congestive heart failure, preeclampsia, heart or kidney problems, diabetes, are on a low-salt diet, or have high levels of potassium in the blood. Caution in pregnancy. Drug interactions may exist.
