Potential side effects/Safety
Because of its irritating effect, blessed thistle is contraindicated in gastric ulcer or in inflammatory bowel conditions such as Crohn disease. Avoid in pregnancy. People sensitive to the sesquiterpene lactones of other Asteraceae plants should use blessed thistle with caution. Drug interactions may exist. Does not contain corn, dairy, gluten, soy, wheat or yeast.
