Chia seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and fibre. These seeds are gluten free, kosher certified, and do not come from GMO crops. Because of their high level of antioxidants, chia seeds will not go rancid like flax seed or other oils and grains. They have a higher ORAC value than fresh blueberries. These seeds are milled and work better when missed with other fibres in this form.
