Bovine thyroid supplements, also called desiccated thyroid or glandular extract, are made from dried and powdered thyroid glands of cattle. This bovine thyroid substance is from the USA and provides additional support for those with underactive or sluggish thyroid glands. This glandular material is free of TSH, T3 and T4.
