Musculoskeletal and Connective Tissue, Neurological, Respiratory and Allergies

Ingredients

Each 1/4 tsp (0.4 g) contains:
dl-Phenylalanine 400 mg

Description

DLPA can be converted to L-tyrosine and subsequently to l-dopa, norepinephrine and epinephrine. It has antidepressant and analgesic properties. It is indicated for depression, low back pain, and may be useful in Parkinson's Disease.

50 g

Dose

1 serving (400 mg) 2-3x daily or as directed.

Potential side effects/Safety

Avoid in phenylketonuria (PKU). Generally well tolerated. Caution in Parkinson's Disease. Drug interactions may exist.
